Cabot, John (c. 1450 - c. 1499)

John Cabot was an Italian navigator. In 1497 he discovered the mainland of North America.

Albert Camus the French novelist and playwright was born in Mondovi, Algeria. He wrote "The Outsider", "The Plague" and "The Fall". In 1957 he was awarded the Nobel Prize for Literature.


Canetti, Elias (1905-1994)

Elias Canetti the Bulgarian novelist was born in Russe, Bulgaria. He wrote "Die Blendung" (Auto-da-Fé) and "Masse und Macht" (Crowds and Power). In 1981 he was awarded the Nobel Prize for Literature.


Capote, Truman (1924-1984)

Truman Capote the American playwright, novelist and short-story writer was born in New Orleans, Louisiana. He wrote "Other Voices, Other Rooms", "Breakfast at Tiffany's" and "In Cold Blood".
